Terrell Davis is a hall of famer in my opinion, but I understand the arguements against him based on his very short career. Cunningham is the reason I'm an Eagle fan, watched him as a kid in amazement, but I do not think his career is worthy of the Hall.

the NFL is complicating the issue by posting way to many names. Some of these guys names don't belong anywhere near a hf list. But I agree, lots of solid players, but probably not hof players.

Haven't looked at anyone's else's list so far in this thread (on purpose), so I am expecting mine to be quite different, as I am probably a lot older than most MJ'ers. I also did not even consider any names other than players as I'm not smart enough to weigh their contribution against on-field contributions by some of the best players of all time.


In Order:

1)Ray Guy............re-defined the position of punter to be an offensive position

2)Roger Craig............First RB to get 1000 yds rushing and receiving in the same year.

3)Bruce Mattews...........How the hell do you play 19 years as an offensive lineman at his level of play?

4)Cliff Branch.................WAS the receiver of the 70's

5)Art Monk...........Partly a career achievement and partly a game-day Sunday achievement.

6)Mark Bavaro..............The prototype for todays power blocking, pass catching TE.
