Alright guys, this is going to be a very big game. IMO both of these teams are NC contenders.
Well lets get to the plays. Each is 1 unit
Miami -3.5 - How long ago was it that Larry Coker was the Pete Carrol of today? I remember watching the canes play and seeing coker with his undefeated record and thinking will anybody beat this guy?
Very few people have, and yet miami has made little noise the past couple years. They have one of the best defenses and probably the fastest linebackers in the country (now that i have seen OU speed) Thier weakness is offense, but it is the same group that faces va tech last year and blew them out agianst the best defense in the country. Miami has the offense to keep up with Fl St. and they have the defense to shut down fla st when it comes down to the end.
Mia/Fla St Over 40 - This is kinda like a hedge/public play. Fla st strength is their incredible passing corp. They have a great young qb and return all but 1 of their top recievers, 2 of which were in the race for best in the ACC. But thier defense on paper leaves much to be desired. I think if it stays under 40 Fla st chances of winning go wayyyyy down. And if it goes over 40 Miami can still win. This is why i love each of these plays. Plus I have seen everyone and their mother on these boards touting the Under, and with very good reason. The score has lowered the past 5 years and is down to 17 total last year, but something has to give and it will be fla defense.
