in a fairly open feature race, take a look at the 8th at hawthorne... fighting fever with emigh aboard (owned by ex-IL governor jim edgar). ML 8/1 looks nice. opposition factor, the hazelton entries... hazleton "go to" jock silva is on i love lisa. a horse owned and trained by hazleton. this horse is positioned outside his other entry. i love lisa can be very tactical in this spot and has an extra year of racing under her belt over the majority of other contenders.

at santa anita, i cannot look past the baffert 2-year old entry in the 3rd. puttin on douglas is ok by me - whos hotter in so. cal at the moment? confident jock who will show up for the likes of baffert/pegram. price will be short...

after an "interesting" opening half, douglas hand rode this horse home. in fact, i consider it lucky to get 2/1 on this one. did anyone tri-wheel this one? pretty nice bottom to get $299 with the monster on top.
