Had a very interesting night yesterday with Pinnacle....


I was on their site watching line movement late on the Padres vs DBacks game, and much to my dismay I hit "update lines" and my account balance all of a sudden was at $2.00 USD. :scared After I sat there with butterflies in my stomach -- I emailed customer service with some concern. I told them what had happened and then asked for a quick response.

After about 10 minutes I this response:

Dear Pinnacle Sports Client,

Thanks for advising us.

Our IT Department is currently looking into this matter. We will contact you as soon as we have an update.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused.

If you have questions, please direct them to our 24 hour Customer Service Department at csd@pinnaclesports.com

Regards,

Customer Service Department

Then about ten minutes after that I got this:

Dear Pinnacle Sports Client,
Our IT Department informed us that your balance should be correct at this time.

We kindly request you to log off and log back in to see the update.

We deeply apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Now I do applaud them for taking care of this problem rather promptly, but I don't seem to be able to get any answers as to why this happened. I don't know if this was something done on my end or a glitch in their system, but I think my heart skipped a beat when I saw my whole balance disappear at the click of a button.



Just thought I'd share -- or see if anyone else has had similar problems.

i heard the same from a few people last night and i recall something like that happenning before. i assume it was a software or website problem.

Well again I'm glad that they took care of it so quickly -- just wondering what caused the problem.

Hate to say this Nosiger -- but I'm kinda glad I wasn't alone. Must have been a glitz with their system.

same thing happened to me. all of a sudden I go to place a bet and the account stated $2. missed out on one wager but overall happy how they handled the problem.

took an hour maybe a little longer but everything was corrected and the email response was good..sent two and got quick replys.

every book will have a problem, it is how they handle the situation. I have had a mix ups at some books that take weeks or months to correct.

HEY BLACKMAN I WONDER IF YOU WOULD HAVE SAID ANYTHING IF IT READ 20,000.00 I WILL NEVER FORGET THE TIME A BANK SENT ME 2 DIFFERENT CHECKS FOR THE SAME TRANSACTION EACH 5200 DOLLARS I TRIED TO CASH THEM BOTH BUT GOT BUSTED SINCE THE BANK FOUND THE MISTAKE :cursin: I FIGURED WHAT THE F-CK I MIGHT AS WELL TRY TO CASH BOTH OF THEM.I MIGHT GIVE PINNACLE ANOTHER TRY I LIKE THE SPORTSBOOK AND LOW VIG I JUST DONT LIKE PICKING UP MY OWN WESTERN UNION CHARGES UNLESS YOU SEND THEM A DIME THAT SUCKS BECAUSE YOUR ALREADY BEHIND 75 TO 80 BUCKS :thefinger
