A few houses down from me - an ambulance was called a week or so a go. I just now found out that their pitbull - who I've seen around the neighborhood sometimes on a leash, sometimes not just attacked its owners.

It's a couple in their 50's and they are pitbull educators. Always saying that pitbull are born friendly and only become vicious by their environment.

They have pitbull stickers on their Escalade....etc.

Anyway, I saw them driving past me today and I pulled in behind them.
The pitbull stickers on their car are gone and my next door neighbor said they dropped off their dog to the vet to be euthanized.

Now, I'm all for dogs and I have one I treat like my own child. But this "pitbulls are friendly" shit is crazy. Something triggered that dog. Who knows what. I don't quite believe the pitbull friendly argument.

They weren't treating the dog properly and didn't bring it up right.

They drive an Escalade...............................they had it coming.

I highly doubt the attack was unprovoked or without a reason.

Pitt Bull is not a breed.

Sorry we agree to really, really disagree Nole. Not all are "FUCKING" animals.

Had three over 25 years (on my third, Indy, awesome dog, Joker has met her) and now I am in my fifties as well (turn 55 AARP age Monday) so we should be afraid. Would love to know more Nick when you find out what happened.

Couldn't agree more. My oldest dog is a Pitt mix and the most loving smart dog I have ever had.

Just never have liked them Chuck. I'm glad your dogs have been normal. It just seems they can snap on a dime. When I hear about what they can do.....well I just can't imagine.

I love dogs but would not own one. I am sure most pit bulls are as other dogs a godsend of unconditional love. But it is a hereditary fact that they can have a disposition that can kill when least expected. What other breed do you hear horror story's month after month of vicious attacks. No thanks. I will steer clear.
