here you go johnny....

Pittsburgh Steelers - QB Rotation: Ben Roethlisberger (first half), Charlie Batch (3rd Q+), Shane Boyd, Omar Jacobs.

Bill Cowher said the starters will get much more work Friday in Philadelphia. The first teams will play up to a full half but no more. Certain starters such as QB Ben Roethlisberger and halfback Willie Parker may bow out earlier than others.

Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger ran the no-huddle offense for the first time in Saturday's 17-10 loss to the Minnesota Vikings, and did very well producing the Steelers' only touchdown. Based on the results, the Steelers might even use it more. "Other teams have done it and had success with it," OC Whisenhunt said. "It will be part of our package because it's another dimension that somebody else has to work on."

Angry coach: Bill Cowher ordered his team to wear their full pads for practice Monday. Normally, they would wear shells in the first practice after a preseason game. "We're not where we need to be," said Cowher. "We set too high of standards. We're much better than we performed the other night.

Wide receivers thin: WR Hines Ward (hamstring) won't play. WR Isaac West (knee) is ailing, along with WR Sean Morey (wrist). Hines Ward's hamstring injury has meant more playing time for rookie WRs Santonio Holmes and Willie Reid.

Coach Bill Cowher said he will give right guard Kendall Simmons some time at center in Friday's game in Philadelphia. But the urgency to ensure depth behind All-Pro center Jeff Hartings might not be so great because C Chucky Okobi, who had neck surgery Aug. 9, said he is planning to return against the Panthers in the final preseason game Aug. 31.

Philadelphia Eagles - QB Rotation: Donovan McNabb, Jeff Garcia, Koy Detmer, Timmy Chang.

Timmy Chang isn't going to supplant Detmer as the third QB as he's barely got any reps in training camp.

Eagles coach Andy Reid is in a wait-and-see mode at running back, with the health of Brian Westbrook and Correll Buckhalter being the biggest issue. Westbrook is recovering from a sprained foot and is expected to be ready for the start of the season. Buckhalter is trying to return from two knee surgeries that cost him the last two seasons. He will play against the Steelers.

RB Brian Westbrook (sprained foot) is out the rest of preseason. At the moment, the Eagles are comfortable with their situation at running back. The Eagles have six running backs behind Westbrook on the depth chart, including fullback Thomas Tapeh, who can also play tailback. Reno Mahe has been running with the first-team offense, and rookie Ryan Moats figures into the equation at the position. Fumbles by Mahe and Moats in the Eagles' preseason loss to Baltimore and two by Bruce Perry against Oakland caused some concern about the running back position.

Defensive coordinator Jim Johnson said he is concerned about the depth at strong-side linebacker with Greg Richmond done for the season after undergoing back surgery.

"We're hungry," Jeremiah Trotter said. "Everybody is hungry. That was the main goal coming in here. Obviously we're embarrassed by last season and sometimes it takes a butt-kicking to get you back and going again. A lot of guys worked hard this off-season, and I think it's showing."

good luck.
