I am starting to sound like a broken record, but I love Philly in this game.

Last 10 Against Pitt: 6 wins, 3 losses, 1 tie. But Philly has not lost to Pitt in Philly in more than 2 years.

Last 13 games, Pitt is 0-12-1
Last 10 roadies, Pitt is 2-7-1

For those deciding whether to take Philly -.5 or -1.5: In last 13 losses, Pitt has lost by 2 or more in 12 of them

I guess only wild card is Esche:shrug:

Philly has also won 17 of last 18 at home against Pitt.

So far:
Philly 2 units
Colorado 2 units
St. Louis 2 units

Just too hard to build a case against any of these.

Good Luck.

the wild card

the wild card

Panaccio in Phila paper reports:

"Esche is healthy but his mental state has become fragile, the coach said. Because he has made just four starts in 21 games in the second half of the season, Esche is rusty."

I think the team wants to rebound strong after last game, and know that a nice win will help Esche's mental state---as long as he doesn't give up too many too soon!

they need to get this help to Esche, as he will be starting the next two games, and maybe more after that. Never know how long these groin injuries can take to heal.

but I'm liking the over more

Thanks for the article, Terryray.

Not sure if it makes me like Philly's chances more or less:shrug:

A nice victory tonight would allow Esche to say :thefinger to all the boo-birds.

And, Philly has only been averaging about 1 goal in his last 6 starts or so. I look for them to score a few tonight . . . maybe even equal that total tonight:D

It was a heart attack of a game, but Pittsburgh came through for me. Again they scored first . . . and second:eek:

Another road loss by at least two goals for Pittsburgh.

Philly 3 units - won (-300 :scared )
Colorado 2 units - won (another shutout of the Sharks for Roy)
St. Louis 2 units - won
Vancouver 2 units - pending
Kings over 5 - pending.

Thanks to everyone for the write-ups today:toast: From what I remember, everyone did pretty well today.

~Patel

p.s. have to lean on the Devils at home against Pittsburgh tomorrow;)

Denver International reopened earlier today, but several flights in and out still canceled.

Better open up quick as I am off to Sarasota tomorrow for a little Spring Training action.

And maybe a little golf.;)
