Lyr pitt surprised everyone and made it to the BE finals losing to BC by 22.Since that loss Howlands team has been on a mission.And today they complete one of their objectives.Pitt is the best defensive team in the BE.They hold teams to just about 60 pts per game.They have a frontline that is physical and can rebound.On top of that they have 3 guys on the bench,Troutman,Lett and Johnson that could start for most BE teams.The depth is the key to today.With Brown,Zavak,and Morris starting sometimes the other 3 are more productive.At the gds Page and Knight are....forget it.No need to explain.BC is the worst coached team in the BE.Yest Rutgers surprised them with a zone and they just barly came back to win the game.bell shot 4-16.Syndey is still out of control.They cannot set screens.Pitt defense will dominate today.With fresh legs,a good coach,a great pt gd,solid rebounding, depth,and a man/man defense that will be in Bells jockstrap all day and Howland making his team watch re-runs of lyr's BE final. I luv Pitt and the 5.5 pts.Also taking Miami -1 over Georgetown for a small play. GL

I am almost sure I saw BC shooting 15% in the game last night in the first half. The score was 34 - 29 forever. Got to agree that Pitt takes them today.

Like Mississippi +1 over South carolina
Think the wrong team is favored.Miss ended their season playing some good b-ball.SC just the opposite.Miss beat them already 71-53.They shoot better,rebound better,and play better defense.Plus they are one of the top FT shooting teams in the nation[73%]Reed is a stud and Sanders and Harper are solid gds.SoCar has some solid gds but think they will be in trouble in the paint.Miss owns them the past 3 yrs.Ole Miss is a dangerous team and think Barnes wins this one by 6-8 pts.

Like Conn -5.5 over Nova.The line is so close but I'll take it since Nova had to play last nite and Conn is rested.Conn can rebound better,are a top off. team with Butler and Gordon.Robertson found his shot back,Selvie and Okafor are equal to Sales and Wright.Nova defense is great and the last time these 2 teams met it was 46-40 Conn.The other game was 70-65 Conn.So 5.5 is the perfect line tonite.Nova is 6-2 ats in last 8 and Conn is 4-0 ats.Calhoun will pressure Snowden into many TO's.Everytime he dribbles and drives you have to hold your breath.Conn needs to get into Buchanon face so he doesn't get good looks.I'll take Conn for a small play.

Like USC -1 over Stanford. Love Clancy and Cravens and Granville.Throw in Blues bombs and Jacobson is in trouble.

Mizzou -7.5 over Iowa St. Just think they have a few more greyhounds then ISU.

Notre Dame -1.5 over Johnnies.
Johnnies can't shoot.Hatten is unreal.Johnnies are 17-1 at home.12-3 ats between the Garden and Alumni.Last week I lost this game taking ND.Just can't see ND losing tonite.So many shooters and Humprey and Swanagan inside.Stop hatten and you beat the Storm.Think Brey comes up with something.Ats records are so one sided.ND is 1-5 ats in last 6 games.I'm closing my eyes and taking ND tonite.

Like Tulsa -15 over boise St.They already beat them by 14 and 20.Will win by 17 then.

Kansas st +2 over Baylor and Bonnies -1.5 over Richmond.
