I think Pitt makes it to the Sweet16 and maybe further!! They will pound the ball inside against Pacific and Washington and manhandle both teams inside!! They could possiblly make it to the Elite 8 and get blown out by Wake Forest!! Pitt has a chip on its shoulders and they will make a run in this thing. Everytime they were putdown this year, they have responded. A 9 seed is absolutely ridiculous for this team and I believe they make some noise. Anyone suggest differently?

i respect pitt but im telling ya they better be able to break 70 to beat the UW (be intersting matchup with pitt/uw--turtle and hare); and dont overlook Pacific, bad karma doing that

Not overlooking anyone. I just think Pitt will wear them out!! Wash is scary but they have no inside game to matchup w/ Troutman and Taft....too small for them. Pacific is sscary b/c of the 3. I hear Pitt is going zone to slow these games down and to stop the 3 barrage that they get on a consistent basis b/c they cannot guard shooters!!!
ive watched UW play many times, and on paper they seem dinky, small, not muscled etc--but they run 9 quality kids at ya, and 6'4 jamal williams is a dantley type scorer on blox, you keep saying he cant do it but he does vs everyone (7-9 fgs vs zona in 18 mins) ... their quickeness, shooting treys, great FTs, and depth at guard is amazing ... Now is UW unbeatable? no, they couldnt beat ucla when up 21 and got crushed by beavs and rolled over vs Trees in finale; but they are damn competitive group

I have watched Pacific a few times and they arent exactly soft. Yango is a big boy that can play against troutman. Maraker isnt a bum either. Pacific is a solid team. They play solid D and can get hot from 3 (Doubley and Webb). I think everyone already assumes Pitt has won this game... i think pacific will keep it very close and might pull out the W

I would just like to see Taft come and play like he did at ND!! He totally dominated and Pitt won easily!! If he shows up, Pitt at least goes to the Sweet 16!!
Washington is a very good team- They are a tough team and they can grind a win out- Unlike Pitt they have 7 guys who can score- 6 of which can create- Pitt is soft guarding the 3's and if they extend out then it gives more room for Nate to dribble penetrate- Simmons, Conroy, and Robinson are as athletic as any trio in this tournament- I will tell you now- UW will not lose to Pacific or Pitt-
