Reason: These two were involved in a real barn burner last year, but expect a more conservative gameplan this time around. Minnesota has one of the top rushing games in the league, but they haven't shown the ability to balance the action with a passing game. Michigan stuffs the run very well which should limit Minnesota offensively. The Wolverines are starting a freshman quarterback who hasn't distinguished himself. Look for Coach Carr to keep the ball on the ground and limit mistakes. Therefore with both squads rushing the football and taking time off the clock the big plays will be negated. Reason: We're going to take Texas to turn things around in the Red River shootout. Oklahoma has won all 4 of the last 4, and in impressive double digit fashion. However, it's been near 30 years since either team has taken 5 straight in this series and we won't expect that to happen here in Texas against this edition of the Longhorns. I'm especially excited here as Oklahoma is playing it's first 'road' game of the season, as all 4 of it's wins have come at home. They were particulary unimpressive in last weeks win over the Red Raiders. In fact, Oklahoma hasn't played anyone of significance this season while Texas has already overcome a major obstacle with a road win in Arkansas. Let's call it this way, Texas 30, Oklahoma 24. The +7.5 points are gravy. Take Texas
