Pittsburgh +3 is an early Christmas present for the team that dominated the first matchup yet lost the game. Look for another defensive battle but Pitt is more balanced. This line is off by a few. Should probably be a pickem at the very least. (brings back memories of Browns +8 vs. Ravens)

Pitt + 9 to be combined with...

Arizona +11 (virtual equal to the under achieving Giants; I'll take the nice points)

Bucs +9 (expecting a close game; too close to call either way; I like the team with points)

Browns +3.5 (superior defensive team controls the game at home)

Jets -2 (bounceback game for a team fighting for the playoffs)

is Bettis back? Ravens can't run the ball and Pits D will give Grbac fits all day. Pitts is clearly the better team and will look to avenge their earlier defeat. Kris Brown has to be more consistent, this guy is the primary reason they lose when they lose.

I am right there with you--I will have a big wheel going with Pitt on Sunday. It only makes sense that the value of +9 is greatly increased in a game with such a low over under. I also like the fact that if you throw out Pitt first game, Pitt +9 would be undefeated ALL YEAR. Add in a revenge situation, a chance to put Baltimore away, and getting the bus back, this baby is screaming.

I really don't know if Vegas"is off by a few". Don't really see it,then again ,I don't think this is a Super Bowl team.I don't like their VERY conservative play selection, their pass defence and their Q.B.(I just feel he lacks the tools to REALLY lead this team,he makes too many dumb errors).
Just my thoughts,I know they have been putting up W's(life and death against Minny-they should have got beat, plus a guy that can't kick PAT's ).

Spanky2, i kinda disagree about your comments on the Steelers. Conservative offense? Are you kidding me? True they have an offense related on the running game but does it means it is conservative? I've been thrill by their new 2-3 weird offensive plays every game i've seen so far. They always brings some trap plays during a game and it is quite original thanks to Mularkey's offense! Much more interesting to see that offense than what they 've done in recent years believe me!

Kordell has matured this year and you can see it. He is not throwing the ball everywhere when he feels pressure as he did before. He is in confidence and WR believes in his capability. Don't forget he can "slash!" anytime in a game!

As far as i'm concerned they are a superbowl contender right now but future will tell us !

Concerning this weekend game. I have a feeling the Steelers might take it off a little and Bettis shouldn't play either. He should rest one more game to be top shape for playoffs. They don't need that game as much as the Ravens. They have much easier games left than this one ! Ravens wins and they are still one game behind but will be 2-0 vs Steelers in case of tiebreaker. Remaining games for Steelers game are at home vs Detroit and Cleveland and away at Cinci. IF there is a game they might lose, it would be sunday. Ravens HAS to win if they ever want to finish first in the AFC. Bettis out, i will play the Ravens even though, as you know, i'm a die hard Steelers fans!
