Same team-same tourney-same bet-same result??

Niagara hit my biggest play yesterday and they are my play again today-just as big.
Purple Eagles came out flat and almost blew a nine pt late lead-but they still won.
Rider has had to play 3 in 3 days now-while NU had a double-bye and has only played once. Their game against Iona was in the 60's-and they like to run.
The 2 games with Rider have been shootouts-and NU should have the legs.
Eagles have been home in their BEDS-while Rider has been on the road for almost a week.
Crowd WILL be an advantage as NU campus is only 20 minutes away.
Buffalo fans are fickle-but without hockey this area is ITCHING for a winner to root for.

Same play as yesterday-Moneyline just in case.

POY2--NIagara Purple Eagles -165
Small NU 1H -2

What do you think about the total of 163?
Seems these 2 teams like to put up alot of
points against each other.

This game smells of over based on the 2 earlier meetings-BUT I would have thought that yest too.
Problem I have with these games is that in going to the dance teams Tense up. It is all about winning not scoring.

Also one HUGE point that I forgot to mention.
NU rocks from the line-will be huge in a close game.

Pass on the total

your probably on the right side, i played a small play on rider as they shot 54% and 60% against this team. What that means is they have no trouble scoring on them and they also play a little, i say little better defense also. good luck.

Respect your opinion-just think all the factors are lined up.
I am also going out on a limb and say:

Niagara will pull an upset in the 1st Round

Most likely Niagara ends up a 14 or 15 seed so which 2 or 3 seed can they beat? Boston College, Arizona, Duke, Kansas, Oklahoma St, Louisville or Uconn? Now see why I'm laughing.

Obviously it is long shot-but they played very well last night.
If they play with intensity they CAN win a round. Itis very dependent on who they play. A team without an anser for Mendez is in trouble.
I was just joking-but I would of thought a Falls boy would have been on them not Rider.

I don't play teams because I am near them (You're thinking of worm). I picked the line the night before it came out and was right on, therefore saw no value. Middled the game, Cris opened with -2.5 and Wsex had +4.5 before tipoff. Played Rider second have because I saw value. If Niagara didn't shoot 70% then the game would have been closer.

Though I now live in the Falls I don't consider myself a "Falls boy" because I didn't grow up here. Most people from the falls could give a shit about Niagara because it is a private, mostly white (excluding their basketball team), overpriced school. I being one of the minority enjoy watching Niagara and have been to many games this year.

Stomie,

You are so correct about the locals not giving a sh*t about NU. I graduated from NU in 1983 and the "townies" as we called them hated the NU students and teams. Almost all of the support comes from the outer areas.

Hey..are they ever gonna clean up Main Street (104). I know they don't even bring prospective students thru that area.

Thanks and good luck.

I grew up VERY close to there-and we considered NF a "hole" as well.
The Buffalo area latches on to a "winner"-play well and they love you-play bad and you are nothing but sports radio talk fodder.
The draw will be everything for NU-but I know they are not the worst team in there w Oakland getting in.

theyre definitely capable of taking out boston college and would have a good shot vs. louisville and arizona. theyd get run off the floor by oklahoma state and duke though. uconn too big for them as well.
