Moe they didn't even have to worry about this if the jackass coach doesn't challenge a ridiculous challenge in the first place. It had no chance to be reversed but the idiot does it anyway. im not blaming the loss on the coach tho. They have the dumbest collection of players and almost as dumb as the Raiders. their receivers can't catch to save their lives and they have this allegedly superstar running back that doesn't get nearly enough touches. Back breaking personal fouls like dumb teams do. All these so called great defense won't win shit with stupid players. Oh and the punt returner was priceless. You have a brilliant coach on one Side with a pretty good team and on the other you have a great team with stupid players. The well coached team will win every time. I just wish I knew SD was this stupid.

I guess on the pro level the smarter players > the better athletes i should have a IQ factor in place when capping NFL games from now on :mj07:

we did know about marty,i disagrre with you about him not losing the game..lt's lack of touches is b/c of him..he was bad ,and i knew he would be.him and herman edwards are the same garbage,I JUST thought that the great players he had would overcome his lack of coaching for this game.

Weasal Rivers wasnt the problem here. They were dropping a lot of passes. He would have had another 100 yards easy. the one he threw to gates was almost a touchdown and should have been another fumble but the refs called it incomplete. I never saw a good team kill themselves over and over again in a ridiculous way

Sponge, I agree totally. The one thing that I can't blame on anyone is the INT fumbled. Huge play and just total bad luck for the most part.

If it had been a long pass, then you could say "just knock it down". The pass hit him right in the chest. No time to react and if he tries to drop it, maybe he knocks it up and Pats get it. Plus, he had a chance to run with it. Just Patriot magic I suppose. Simply amazing. Pretty sure Chargers win if the pass is incomplete.

The personal foul that extended the drive....might be the most selfish, stupid play of the year. Straight out of the damn ghetto there. Pure garbage. I don't care what had been happening, you don't cost your team the game there.

As for a quick out with 8 sec's. Yeah, it went through my mind, but its risky. Could be a sack, grounding, INT, catch and stay in bounds....It would have helped, but at least they had a chance at 54 yards.

Whole game sucks.

What was that punt returner thinking? when he dropped it i thought for sure he was just gonna jump on it. I think if i was the coach i would have cut him right there. And on a kickoff the other idiot stops the ball from going out of bounds and runs it to the 28. A classic example of showing how stupid you are. I said in another thread that the receivers on this team were their weak link and some guy tried to tell me i was wrong lol. Did they know they were playing the Patriots and not the raiders?

Sponge you are hitting on it but people aren't picking it up! You see it week in and week out, stupid players making stupid plays to loose games! I can count at least 5 fricking idiotic plays that Charger players made that cost them the game! It's hard to coach stupid! That's why I think so many college coaches go pro then run back to the college ranks where they have better control of the players, thus the situation!

Tcon you know another play that had me shaking my head was the bomb Rivers threw that his nitwit receiver ran right out of the endzone. What a beautiful strike and this receiver runs it right threw the endzone. You have to get your feet in there. How many great catches have we seen this year with guys keeping their feet in. The top receivers get their feet in on that pass but this kid look like he just wanted to catch it. This was another back breaker and i think it was the same guy dropping pass after pass. I will say this tho usually refs decide who wins a lot of these games but this one i thought was called fairly. It was SD that killed themselves over and over again. To me this was the superbowl. These were the two best teams and i don't care if NE doesn't win it. I said from the beginning that the guy who wins this year is the guy nobody gave a chance. The guy everyone always thought would win before. this happens over and over in sports and your most likely gonna see it again and that is Manning. NE will get hosed this weekend just like they did last year in Denver. Refs took them out of that game and they will do it again this weekkend with back breaking calls at the worst possible time.

I hear ya Sponge, probably the best pass Rivers threw all day! You have only so many opportunities to win a game and the momentum can change in a heartbeat on a play or unfortunately on a Ref's whistle! And the Chargers did everything they could possibly do to f up the wet dream! I still see the punt returner on the ground trying to pick the ball off the turf when it looked like he just chucked it! Not mention on the Pat's 4th down play...what pee wee player doesn't know to bat the ball down...and if ball somehow gets Velcro'd to your jersey, at least have the common sense to take a knee! I may resort to playing blackjack...at least my money isn't relying on some rocket scientist with a bachelors degree in Home Gyms! Smart money goes against the hype. SD was the team everyone had in the SB, now it's really up for grabs....and I can't help think back to the Hollywood Monday night game with NO blowing out Atlanta. Maybe that really was a sign of things to come!
