The Knicks entire back court has been horrendous on D all season. Playing against them in the form of player props should be profitable as they routinely allow PGs and SGs surpass their season averages in Pts, Rebs & Asts on a nightly basis. I'm going to start tracking the player props I play against NYK the rest of the season in this thread.

Starting out lightly because POR is in the middle of a 4 in 5 nights swing on the road, but obviously they have two very talented guards that drive their offense...

D. Lillard o11.5 reb+ast (-140) 2x
CJ McCollum o21.5 Pts (-120) 2x
CJ McCollum o29.5 Pts+reb+ast (-120) 2x

Well, Lillard was obviously the play tonight, both for over Pts and over Pts+ast+reb. I was scared off by the extra tax on him as he's been hot lately and I saw his scoring total posted a little hight at 28.5 -- 3 Pts above his season avg. The 3 category total I saw was 40 and he'll clear that big number with ease tonight. I probably underestimated how the bad travel spot would affect McCollum in his first year getting significant minutes.

FWIW, the Knicks tend to get burned by PGs more than any other position, especially star PGs, who seem to know they are in for a big night going against the likes of Calderon, Afflalo, Vujacic, etc... not to mention the inability of the Knicks big men (*ahem* Lopez) to close on the high screen. Look forward to big games to come from Isaiah Thomas, Reggie Jackson, Mudiay, Knight/Bledsoe and CP3 as they all face the Knicks in the next 10 days.

I. Thomas o22 -130 2x
I. Thomas o31.5 -120 5x

Still working on Bradley and Tuner props. May or may not have something on them as well.
Really like Thomas Pts,reb, ast total tonight. He's gone over that number all three times vs NYK this season.

Too easy! I wish I had started tracking and playing these guard props sooner.
At least it's one way to make this miserable season by the Knicks more enjoyable :lol:

No play tonight. Suns have Knight in uniform, but just coming back from a groin injury and Bledsoe has been out after knee surgery, so no props on either of those guys. I saw a prop on Devin Booker Pts @15.5, but decided to lay off. Lean to the over though. This game will be can't miss TV, I'm sure.

Looking forward to playing CP3 over in all categories on Friday. I'll be at the game

Passing tonight. Too many unknowns with the guard minutes when Kobe plays, especially if it's his second game in a row. I don't even think Byron Scott knows how many minutes Kobe will play, which, in turn affects minutes for Clarkson, Russell and Young. I wouldn't think of betting that Kobe total (17pts) and really, all these guys are too inconsistent night to night. It's hard to guess the Laker's mentality when Kobe plays. Are they out there to have fun and put on a show or are they trying to win (which they shouldn't be from a draft pick point of view)? Plus, I wouldn't be surprised if the Knicks brought a strong defensive effort after having watched the the way they played in Staples on Friday night five rows from the court. I do lean to Russell over Pts(18.5), Asts(4.5) and Pts+Reb+Ast(26.5), but no play for me tonight.

Passing because no Irving tonight. Not interested in JR at 13.5 pts. His scoring has been too inconstant. If I could get a prop Delly I'd think about it. Missed an opportunity to on Rose last game but news was he had a sore back and minutes would be monitored. He scored 30. Oh well. Just proves further that these guard props against the Knicks can be profitable.
