i will bring some reasons to the board tomorrow, but this one sticks out to me. Butler will win this conference, which means that Wisc-MIlw is going to lose a couple more games. They covered against Loyola-Chicago the other day when I thought they wouldnt, but this time, I really think they are screwed. I hope you guys look into this one, and let meknow that ya think, but this one is a winna!!

Wisky Milwaukee is better than you think. They beat Butler at Butler and lost to them by 1 pt last week. Those two teams are far better than anyone else in the conference, including UIC.

Not sure how old you are, but this game would be a great one to be at if you remember the history between Bruce Pearl and Jimmy Collins back when they both were assistant coaches in the Big-10.
Not going to bore anyone with the details, but lets just say Pearl and Collins ain't exactly on each others Christmas card list....;)

Back in January, Wisconsin-Milwaukee put the wood to Illinois-Chicago at home, 75-49. On Monday, they traveled to Loyola-Chicago and won by 10 points. Loyola-Chicago is a better team than Illinois-Chicago, and this is the time of the year when the Flames begin to flame out.

Milwaukee has won 6 of their last 7 and 8 of their last 10 whereas the Flames are only 5-5 in their last 10.

Its never wise to bet the road favorite, but if I was going to wager on this one, I'd have to go with the Panthers laying the short number.

Good luck with this one, and I wish I could get to Chicago tonight to see this one in person........:D

I'll post the story here when I find it -- it is great stuff!

I like UIC here tonight, as well.

The story is this: Pearl was an assistant at Iowa and Collins was the main assistant/recruiter to Henson at Illinois. Pearl apparently had gotten Deon Thomas to admit on tape that he was given "perks", which included a Blazer....and not the kind you wear. Collins denied it and the blood has been bad between Illinois and Iowa since. Both assistants have moved on. Then earlier in the season, after Wisky Milwaukee destroyed UIC, Collins refused to shake Pearl's hand after the game. He probably also was upset at his players, who were outscored 38-11 in the second half. UWM has been a great bandwagon to be on this season. The other day they spotted Loyola a 6 pt halftime lead and absolutely smoked them in the second half. UIC will need more than a revenge motive, IMO. They'll need a starter who's taller than 6'5. I'm not sure you can even count Solverson, who really doesn't add anything.

Thats cool guys, I hope fading me works out. I recommend it to many....but I wont say another word until the final score flashes on this game. I am really sure on this one, and believe me I am one of the most modest guys you will find on this site

sorry, dont have much time. usually teams that cover as a small road fav in their last game out, and come right back as another small road fav, almost always lose. i sure wish i had some time to research and post examples, but i guess all i can say at this point, is trust me. but hey i dont want to be responsible, cuz nothing is a lock. this is the start of a 3 game home stand for illinois-chicago, and i think that they can win all 3 going into a couple of roadies to finish the season.

just my opinion, but i got a good gut feeling on this one

I'll give you your kudos Big Tease. I still can't believe Wis Milw blew a 9 pt lead in the final 3 minutes. UIC is scrappy and they never give up.
