Fellas yes the Braves have a great-line-up but Wood will be overpowering, and will work around Scheffield. Ortiz --has control issues and against this veteran Cubs team, can't afford to walk, because they have solid line-up 1-9, someone is going to make Oritiz pay for those walks.

I wanted to add a few notes concerning the Giants_marlins---game. See a lot of folks on the over--but i do not see it being very high scoring. U got Schmidt---he is only going to give up maybe 1---then u got Becket, he probaly will give up 3---He is very good at getting out of jams, getting big strikeouts with guys on base, I'll probaly play this game under for sure---It is 7 for a reason.If it was an easy over wouldn't the line 8.

I got the Cubs to win the World Series +700 ---Atlanta is in trouble against the Cubs--FOr 1---Cubs have better starting pitching. This is going to be the biggest factor in this series. Cubs line-up and score off the Braves starters while Wood,Prior will hold the Braves down. Cubs bull-pen shaky sometimes,but braves pen,Besides Smoltz all can give it up.

Why??/ the giants game under?? First of all Schmidt is on the hill and he will be dominant---his stuff is great and Flordia will struggle at the plate, and when he gets done--Giants bull-pen will take care of buisness. Then we have Josh Beckett--he has great stuff and can get strike-outs, working with I.Rodriquez--he is a veteran catcher that calls good pitches, and the giants can forget about stealing on him. The biggest factor why i play this under is that the ball does not carry to center during the day in Pac Bell, this means ball will not be leaving the yard, and Flordia with speedsters in outfield, will be running balls down. Giants under 7--5 unit play.

I see a lot of people liking the fish, but i just can't see that today. First of all, their facing Schmidt, this guy is lights out. Giants were in the World Series last year, they are a veteran team, they have good smart hitters that make pitchers work, BOnds best player in baseball---they have Marquis Grissom batting 7th---this guy is old but damn he is a smart hitter and still is capable of playing to a high level.Don't want to sound like an ass but if u like money don't bet Flordia.

will hedge atlanta -140 for 5 units--just in case they blow out the CUbs---but i don't see that happening---Believe in the Cubs my friends---The only reason i hedge this is because if Cubs cover run-line i win 17 units--if they don't i lose 10 units---so i will hedge half my original bet. if atl wins by 1 whow show me the money.
