Phillies to win WS + 235 x 5
gone are the 250's and 240's and there was a 255 out there when they opened but I'm slow. Generally available around 210-220 range across the board. Hard to argue with experience, coaching, and Halliday, Oswalt and Hamels. No experience postseason with Halliday, but is anyone really worried about him performing in a big spot. They only thing to lose this is the bullpen and Lidge, but it's gambling and I'll take my chances. Most complete team top to bottom and the experience and homefield throughout should give them a great opportunity to win their 2nd in three years.
Minnesota to win AL + 440 x 2
Home field against the Yankees is big. Neither team going into this series tearing it up, but outside of CC, the yankees don't scare me much, and he can be had. Certainly wouldn't surprise me to see them go down to the Yankees, but I think this might be their year with a new stadium, solid pitching, and team speed and youth.
If it weren't for Cox last season, I'd be all over the Giants as the Braves have too many flaws, and are awful on the road, but I'll shy away as Cox might find some magic at least for one series.
