And I have no idea how Thibodeau only gets 2 first place votes, and Drew and Del Negro get 1?? Again, if your team fails to score 60 points in an NBA regulation game, you should be automatically disqualified from any sort of accolades.

Karl did a heck of a job this year... but from where I sit, Thibs was hands down the COY. What he has done with that bunch is nothing short of amazing.

VDN getting any votes is hilarious!!!! Worst coach in the league by far.

Was my tone negative? Not trying to be defensive - sorry if it came off that way. Just trying to discuss. I wish there was a lot more discussion on this forum than there is, because I like to learn things or have someone challenge my way of thinking.

Definitely no great statistical edge in tailing someone for one play, that's for sure, and generally I don't tail anyone either. If I lose or make money, I want it to be my play.

I'm kind of apathetic towards these playoffs for some reason. I have not really been watching games or investing much time in them. As a basketball fan, I am routing for the Grizzlies and Pacers more than anything, and betting is sort of an aside for me at this point. I am way more built for the regular season, as far as that goes. Just saying, I don't feel very invested in this process for some reason, but thought it would be fun to tail along and let everyone know who he is on for the night.

Memphis looks good so far. Can't ever discount a team with Durant on it, though.

Again, just trying to rack your mind and see where you are coming from. Never know when you can learn something from someone.

Cheers

I would love to see the Grizz play the Heat. Those bigs could give the Heat some serious trouble.

Really rooting for the Pacers to beat the Knicks though

I could make a great argument for either Thibodeau or Karl - I think they both overachieved given their personnel.

But come on, Lawrence Frank is seriously insulted by your suggestion that VDN is worse than him!! No idea how he gets a vote, lol!!

You are correct!! And next game it goes over the total!! Any time total for Bulls games are less than 195, typically they go over, except last night's game, so the oddsmakers knew that making the numbers, my guess is tomorrow the Heat will make a statement at home since they played like a scrimmage effort vs a team going all out!!

GL HH!! :) Always appreciate the info!

195 is a sacred number for some reason on Bulls/Heat totals, but yet the books keep the numbers lower than that number.

Another over!! Crazy crazy stuff!!

GL Friday, HH!!

what does that mean Hippo? Is Crawford a Miami hater? Bulls backer? do tell, curious bettors want to know....still think Miami rolls tonite..howzabout that Klay Thompson? think the Dubs can continue the mojo? hard to imagine Pop not reversing the troops and getting them back on track, but I like the spunk of that Dubs team..Imagine if David lee were healthy!

He probably foul out James in the first half.

Or, T him up for no apparent reason, lol. Yes, he just likes to be "noticed". What that means for the game, who really knows, but he certainly inserts his presence into the game. I only watched a little last night, but I thought he was pretty subdued except that T on Lebron.

No, I don't think the Warriors have the mojo - I think they have had an amazing run, and they have got luckily hot at the right time. But, when you rely on your star to play 93% of the minutes on a gimpy ankle, it is bound to catch up, and without Curry on the floor or less than 100%, they are not very good. Shooting long range shots is great when you are "hot", but it's just not sustainable. The Spurs are still the team with the better roster top to bottom, the better coach, and the better superstar. I love their spunk and their effort, but like you said - Pop is going to figure out a way. Danny Green did a great job on Curry last night, and Parker finally had a decent game.

People are so high on the Warriors right now, but I'm definitely not. I still like the Spurs to win this in 5 or 6. They are just the way better team, that happened to have a couple bad games to start.

For me, I like to look at what happened over the course of a whole season, as opposed to taking a couple games and declaring one team better than the other. After all, the Spurs did have the third best record in the league and the fourth best MOV of any team. That is very impressive over the course of a long season. Chances that they continue to shoot 41.6% from the field (which would be off the board for lowest in the league) as opposed to their season average 48% (good for second in the league), slim chance. Chances that Warriors continue to shoot so hot against a really good defensive team, slim. Chances that Pop continues to be outcoached, slim. etc., etc. Regression to reality.

Cheers

Actually, my favorite thing about this Spurs team can be summed up by Mark Jackson's comment after the game:

"Execute you to death."

For Warriors fans, this is a cool article! This was the last time the Warriors won in SA before their win earlier this week. You will recognize many players on those teams, some of whom are coaches in the league now!

Last thing, for now. The best three players on the Spurs team are obvious, but Kawhi Leonard is greatly overlooked as well. In my opinion, he is the fifth best player on the floor in this series, and I would take him over any other player on the Warriors team, other than Curry. Leonard is already, and will grow to be VERY good.
