Last week: 5-2 +$370

YTD: 5-5 +$40

Have several that look good that I haven't made a play on yet. Shoulda took Troy St immediately as the line went from +4.5 to +3 this morning but do have one I am taking now as the line has moved a half point at a few books:

N. ILL +5 vs S. FLA ($107/100 canbet)

These 2 played each other early last year with a FG winning it for NILL. The huskies did rush for 200 yds while holding the Bulls to 50. They also had 21 FD's to 12 for S FLA. Both teams should be improved this year as each has 16 returning starters and both teams played well in their 1st games, although SFLA played a div I-AA team. S FLA weakness is their OL as they are very young and inexperienced, not a good thing vs N ILL whose strength is their D w/ 9 returning starters. So I would expect N ILL to have great success stopping the run again. Main concern for me on this game is the fact N ILL is off an OT win vs an ACC team and have a BIG 10 game next week. I am sure those kids are already thinking they can beat Wisconsin if they play their best game (I think they do have a chance) but hopefully they will not be looking ahead in this one but it is a concern for me. Think N ILL could get the upset but think they have the defense to keep this w/in 5 points if they lose.

Will have more plays during the week. I just wanted to post this one as soon as I played it in case the line moves on me.

nice job last week.....

I see a lot of MAC plays for you this week. I do agree with you on these dogs....

gl this week. I really like BC this weekend. Stanford new coach, new QB, first game, and BC playing with revenge. Also helped keep the line down that BC looked sluggish vs. UCONN....

Thanks Chenker. If Ok St couldv'e held on it wouldv'e been an awesome week but it is nice to get back to just above even on the year. Good points about BC. Also doesn't hurt that Stanford may still be percieved as one of the top teams in the Pac10 and that, too, may be contributing to the line value. I also like BC here but I am going to hold off for now. Part of me is upset I saw the line at -7 sunday nite and now it is at -7.5. Don't play many teasers but this is one I can't see BC losing and I may tease it down to -1. Of course I have burned with teasers and that kind of thinking in the past so we'll see. GL this week!

I am a horrible judge of possible line movement, adding:

N ILL +7 vs S FLA ($107/100 canbet)

Really didn't want to add anything on this with the possible look-ahead factor and 1st road game. However at an even 7 I feel I have to. I know N ILL lost one of their starting O lineman but still feel theyhave the running game and defense to keep this w/in a TD.

Also adding

Oreg St -10 vs Temple ($82/75 canbet)

This line has dropped enough for me. If Temple was going to make noise I think last year was the time. Oreg St should be improved and think they could be a top4 team in the Pac10. They have 15 returning starters but have done much better ATS at home then on the road. Last year was a down year for them but I think they will have a solid year both SU and ATS this year.
