Playing all for half my normal amount. Will add more if lines move with me. Most of these are obviously just taking the dog that catches their opponent in a nice sandwich game or at least w/ a big game on deck. Wake Forest I just believe has the talent to get w/in this # and lost 38-33 last year in a game where the stats were very close, with slight edges to WF. Teams usually step up their play early on when star players are hurt and I feel GA Tech, after playing well w/o DL Gathers for 2 games and RB Hollings for 1 is going to start feeling the effects of those losses very soon. Still think they are a solid team w/ good depth but those were 2 of their better players. Also like the fact that GA Tech's next game is against Maryland even thought they do have a bye next week. Even still I am sure they are waiting for revenge as they fumbled the game away to Maryland last year.
UCONN catches Miami off BC w/ FSU on deck and have been a great play as a dog of 20+ pts as they are 8-1 ATS last 9 in that spot. Miami did have a bye last saturday so the the sandwich game might not be as strong but mostly like the fact they play FSU the week after this one.
Navy catches AF off the big conference road upset or Utah w/ BYU on deck. AF is 0-7 ATS last 7 before BYU. AF is 3-7 ATS last 10 vs NAVY and the visitor is 9-5 ATS last 14 in series.
UL Lafeyette catches LSU off a win over Miss St and they will have FLA the week after this game. Big revenge game for LSU as they were destroyed by FLA last year and I am sure they feel this is their best shot as FLA has already lost to Miami and Kentucky played them close even though FLA special teams helped them. Lafeyette will be off a bye week so maybe they will have a trick or 2 for LSU and Lafeyette is an improving team in the sun belt and shutout UAB 2 weeks ago.
Should have more plays during the week but wanted to post these now in case the lines moved against me. Admittedly 3 out of 4 of these are based mainly on sandwich games and look aheads. Believe me it is still hard to lay $ on teams that got blown out by Duke, etc. However I have missed out betting on teams I originally liked in this spot but changed my mind. The OHIO cover against FLA when FLA was off Miami and Tennesse upcoming was one and Temple playing Miami who was off FLA with BC was another. Not saying dogs in this position always cover but I like my chances with these.
