No question that I will be on all three of these:

Butler laying 5 over Detroit HUGE

The Titans are not the same team that began the year on such a tear. Yes, most of their downfall has been on the road, but one must consider the quality of teams they have faced. The end result is nothing close to the team they will meet in Butler.

St Bonny laying 3.5 over LaSalle

Yeah, another road favorite that have not fared well the past couple days. That being said, Butler is certainly the right side and so is St Bonny as well. Neither team is excellent at rebounding which indicates to me that both teams will have one shot and done on offense. Given the fact that La Salle is averaging below 40% FG shooting, I see them having a lot of problems scoring in this game.

Oregon laying 11 over California

Cal hasn't played very many games on the road. . . losing by 20 to South Florida and Stanford. Oregon plays incredible at home. I'll go ahead and ride both streaks for this game.

Still looking at several other games including a possible play on Oregon State. I believe the theme of the Pac 10 season will be home court advantage. Should be VERY difficult for any team in the Pac to win on the road.

Yes, I know. . . Southern Ill. has been a great team for me to play this year but Wichita State should give them trouble at home. I feel the game is a tossup and taking the ML +135 on the home team appears to be the way to go in this one.

I am playing it small though so if my two big plays come in, I'll be ok.

Gonna add USC laying 3.5. . . afterall, its Ray's game of the week! LOL. . . several other reasons besides this, but always nice to be on Ray's side as well.

Still say Butler is the best bet on the board. . . and yes I do realize the 35 game home winning streak that Detroit has on the line. . . but of those 35 games, how many were against an opponent the caliber of Butler?

Oh my God. . . Arizona covered. . . had to rely on Fox to hit two free throws with 7 seconds to go. . . needed this one after Butler's horrific performance against Detroit.

couldnt believe the cats covered that one.CONGRATS to the Cat backers... Nickel you are correct about laying chalk on the road in the pac. It is not smart. As for Cal covering, they may have lost by 20 to USF and Stan on the road but they were in those games until the final 10 minutes before blowing up.

Damn! I guess my first post will be one of frutration. Nailed on the hook on the USC (gave 4.5) cuz of all that bull$hit 3-pt shooting by UCLA. They were just throwing it up there every time down and the same result : swish.

Also pushed on Arizona laying the seven. I need to sign up a new book i think.Did all you guys' books have theselinesup to 4.5 and 7 by tonight also? I think thebigbook inflates its faves a bit too much formy taste. Or maybe i just need to hit them hard on the dogs.

Sorry to hear about those lines Jeff. . . I know Arizona reached 7, but certainly did not know about USC reaching 4.5. . . 4 was the highest that I saw.

Man sorry to hear that. certainly wasn't trying to gloat. I know how frustraing it can be when the difference between winning and losing is getting your bet in an hour later.

If you see a pattern of the bigbook having higher lines than its probably worth your while to cash out 1/2 your bank roll and finding a new book and only playing the dogs at the bigbook.

No problem, wasn't at all upset with you guys celebrating, just bemoaning my inflated lines/late plays. Youre so right about the difference between getting the bets in early and getting them in just before post time. Thought I would be looking good with 2 of the infamous "outlaw" plays. Also had a MLparlay on the two which won to break even for the night.

Maybe its time to get another account. That 1/2 pt. difference never looks like its going to be a factor when your hitting the "confirm" button.
