I hope not for your sake. Just drink lots of fluids and get a lot of rest Buddy. I don't know how old you are, but it is harder on the old guys like me. I took Tylenol. I Got through the Covid and then got the gout again this morning. i got to watch what I eat. I made a thick steak last night, a little too much on the rare side and I can't walk for shit again today.

I am 72. Steaks are good to get gout. I bet he has a lot of colchicine and Allopurinol laying around.

Hey BA.....thanks for Tulane last night. I'm 46 and take my allopurinol faithfully. I haven't needed the colchicine in about 5 years. Does it get worse as you get older?

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner Sharky. I wouldn't say it gets worse as you get older. I have had this problem it seems like forever. I was taking colchicine when I was in my 30's it seems like. Or whenever it came out. But I am Italian and ate tomato sauce and all foods I should not have. I drank a lot too. Everybody's system is different. Thank God I never liked seafood. I was a partier, drinker, smoker eat red meat late at night in bars until I was maybe 70. Stage 4 throat Cancer put a stop to that. I don't smoke anymore but I do have a beer once every 3 days maybe. No more whisky. whisky hurt me gout wise more than beer. I still don't eat right so sometimes suffer. Uric acid finds a way to hang on my joints. When I get in gout trouble, I take both colchicine and allopurinol both at the same time. Like now. Just be careful and watch what you eat. enough babbling by me, just keep doing what you're doing sharky with the allopurinol. Good Luck
