Gus has had about 15 major seizures in the last 48hrs. They last about 2 mins and happen about every 3 hrs. He hasnt totally come out of one yet. He has been at the vet during the day and emergency room all night for the last two days. Could be cancer, could be severe epilepsy, could be a tumor. Vet have run many tests and cant figure anything out. I cant stand seeing him go through this nor have my wife witness these things. He is on medication and will hopefully come out of it soon. He is only 9 months old, one of the many reasons this is so hard. If he doesnt get better we will have to make a decision in the next few days...

My prayers are with GUS

My prayers are with GUS

Know where you are coming from. Had to recently euthanize my best friend after she became quite ill with cancer. There is a reason they call them "mans best friend". Hope things turn out for the better for you.

I hate hearing things like this. My prayers go out to you, your family, and Gus. My dogs are my family and my old girl (1/2Coyote and 1/2 Rott) is getting to the age where her age is showing.
I have another 1/2 Wolf 1/2 MAL, and a full blooded Wolf. Now I have 7 cubs ,around the house. Their cuteness goes away after the first week of pissing, pooping, barfing, and crying. I'm selling them now, so hopefully will have great homes for all of them by the NEW YEAR. Don't lose hope........my friends dog suffered from seizures and was on medication and ended up living 13 years. I wish you the best!

a buddy of mine had this same type of problem with his dog. he took the dog home and while he was at work the dog had many seizures and the temperture of his brain went up so much there was brain damage. the vet couldn't figure it out. i wish the best, i'm sure it is painful. let us know how it turns out.

He is a beautiful dog. My daughter's dog had the same problem which the vet fixed with medication. I will say a little prayer that the same happens for you.

Wareagle, I'll definately say a prayer for Gus. Hope all goes well. I'm a big time dog lover and know how you feel. Had to put my English Bulldog to sleep this past fall after only having him for 8 years. God Bless you and Gus.

wareagle.......

Thoughts are with you, your wife, and Gus. Prayers are being sent.....Gus already knows, as animals are telepathic by nature and respond to prayers and loving thoughts directed toward them no matter what the distance. Wishing him a speedy recovery. My mother-in-law, who owns a Sheltie, recently had her put on medication for seizures. She's doing fine now. Keep the faith :)
