:sadwave: This is a bit of a rant; some judge in San Francisco decided that the Pledge of allegiance was unconstitutional because of the "under God" statement. Has EVERYONE forgotten that this country is founded upon an individuals belief in GOD. I am sick and tired of hearing how I need to be politically correct for everyone else and in turn I sit and watch the values I spent 20 years in the USAF defending going down the tubes! I once read....I do not agree with a thing you have said, but I will defend to the death your right to say it!....but once in a while I'd like to smack the $%^&*$@ out of those who take such liberties to put down all that many believe. :scared

The other saying that I've heard is:

I will defend to the death your right to believe in your god, but I will kill you if you force your god on me.

Something like that.

Nice. I can't wait to use this on somebody.

I herd it said. Just drop under god and problem goes away. Is it true under god was added many years after original pledge? Or was that the saying in god we trust?
