Never had it before, unless as a child. Had the flu since Monday morning and started feeling really tight in the chest tuesday afternoon. Now I have coughed the entire time and most of sunday. Shouldn't have much flem in my lungs since I am really good about blowing my nose constantly so figured I would ask anyone who has had it and if that chest tightness is more a case of just soreness from coughing constantly over three days or actual pnuemonia. I am not the type who runs to the doctor for antibiotics everytime I get sick so figured i'd ask first. Thanks.

if you have Pneumonia, there should be some pain involved in your middle back...it is not a fun illness to have...

No, none there. The discomfort I feel comes from my sides along the rib cage. Thanks for responding though.
