Good Morning, BoyZ .. Friday's NHL POD OV 6 caps mleafs was a POD LOSSAH, WASH CAPS 3-1.
( 3 - 5 ) -3.8* units Friday on posted nhl plays & now am + 23.5* units for the week on posted nhl plays.
GOOD LUCK SATURDAY, BOYZ .. lets find that pearl.
Not capping any pucks on Shatterday, especially since it's Pearl Harbor Day. Not going to get bombed!

5-4 Villanova travels to the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia (14 miles) to take on 4-3 Temple in a City Series showdown. Temple has beaten Sacred Heart, Drexel, Monmouth and UMASS. They feature one of the best guards in the country, Jamal Mashburn. Jr. Tip is 4:30 pm eastern on NBCS (wherever that is). Nova is -9.5/143.
Mashburn averages 22.1 ppg and shoots 50% from 3. The team shoots 32% from 3 so he’s the guy Nova has to focus on beyond the arc. Steve Settle, 6’10”, averages 13.1 ppg and is really their only stellar rebounder. They play 8 deep only with Brown being their shooting specialist. Their weaknesses are offensive rebounding, turning the ball over and not creating turnovers. They DO restrict their opponents to shooting under 30% from 3.
The Cats are coming off of a solid win over 14th ranked Cincinnati. If they can put that game in the rear view mirror and focus on Temple they should overpower the Owls in the second half. Temple will struggle with Dixon and Boakye should dominate the boards. Hopefully, Brickus can continue his amazing work at point guard.
Needless to say, I like Nova’s chances despite all the money pouring in on Temple.
