POD BOYZ PLAY OF DAY TUESDAY APRIL FOOLS DAY

The Wildcats are still playing! They are in Las Vegas to play Colorado in the Crown Tournament. A new Tournament where the Big 10, Big 12 and Big East commit two non NCAA Tournament teams to the event. The prize is NIL money.
Tip is 8:30 pm eastern. Nova is -3.5/141.5
The 14-20 Colorado Buffaloes have beaten UCONN and Colorado St. They gave Houston all they cold handle before losing in their Conference Tournament (77-68). The 19-14 Wildcats played UCONN even for 30 minutes in the Big East Tournament before imploding. Immediately after, their Coach was fired.
Villanova will be coached by assistant Mike Nardi, a former Villanova player. New Coach Kevin Willard will be in the stands watching. How will all this impact the players will determine the outcome of this game. On the Colorado side, point guard Hammond injured himself in the Houston game and may not play. It should be noted that 6’8” Jakimovski went off for 25 vs Houston. They also have two trees in 6’11” Malone and 6’10” Dak. They like to score from the paint for obvious reasons. They draw fouls and shoot 75% from the line. They also turn the ball over a lot.
Nova starts 5 seniors so impressing their new coach is not a motive. Eric Dixon though needs 9 points to become Villanova’s all time leading scorer. Expect him to get fed early and often. The coaching staff are likely all lame ducks. To me, Nardi should be a keeper so maybe he’ll strut his stuff and pretty sure the players will perform for him.
If Nova comes to play, they win by double digits. If they go through the motions? Either way I think Nardi will call for an up tempo game. Give me the Over!
