POD BOYZ PLAY OF DAY TUESDAY FEBRUARY 18

Good Morning, BoyZ .. Monday's NHL POD TEAM USA -PL(+130) vs. Team Sweden was a POD LOSSAH, Team Sweden 2-1.
Hitting it off the post again & again was simple for the U.S., but hitting the net was another thing, plus they were just missing
too many of their key players Trachuk's, McAvoy, Matthew, & they DID NOT have to win, because they are in the Champioship game
on Thursday night against Team Canada who they have already beat once 3-1.

The 15-11 Villanova Wildcats will test the 17-8 UCONN Huskies at the XL Center in Hartford. Tip is 6:30 pm eastern on FS1. UCONN is -8.5/139.5.
Both Clubs enter this game off of miserable performances. UCONN was up 7 with 45 seconds to go and somehow lost to lowly Seton Hall in OT. Nova couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn in a 75-62 loss at Providence. Their 3 point defense was the worst it’s been all season.
When they played each other in Philly on January 8, Nova walked away with a 2 point win. It should be noted that UCONN superstar Liam McNeeley was injured and did not play. Both clubs have top 20 offenses but both like to play at slow paces. Even in a losing effort vs Nova in their previous matchup, UCONN had a field day from the 3 point line. It should surprise no one what UCONN will do tonight offensively. The Wildcats know that the Huskies can be sloppy on defense and commit a lot of fouls. One would expect the Wildcats to take it to the rim on offense.
Defensively, the Huskies are inconsistent and Nova borders just being bad; though they have risen to the occasion a few times. I expect UCONN’s McNeeley, Ball and Karaban to hoist quite a few from deep. After the Seton Hall debacle these guys are due. Nova should slow the pace to a crawl and get both Poplar, Longino and Dixon attacking the hoop. They, of course, will shoot quite a few 3’s also.
I know quite a few UCONN alumni and they are typical bullish about destroying the Wildcats but they are eerily cautious about tonight’s game. Meaning: UCONN rolls. But..I’m hedging my bet with a teaser!
