Gio Gonzalez should breath a nice sigh of relief going into todays start...only five teams are hitting worst against left-handers that the Seattle Mariners.. Ryan Rowland- Smith is hanging on by a thread to his starting job and will surely be demoted once Bedard gets back. He has allowed eight home runs and 17 walks to 13 strikeouts in seven starts this season, he has horrible command and for someone who is not a strikeout pitcher that is not a good thing.
OAK are 14-5 in their last 19 games as a favorite.

Sorry for those who have tailed the last few days...All I can say is..I hate losing just as much as the next man..this is a marathon not a sprint..Slow dough is better than no dough..and I know come october I will be alot more in the plus than I am now
