First Monday appearance in 7 years for the Saints. And are in the envious role of home division dogs.
However, the Rams' explosiveness is a thing of beauty. Their magnificent "O" was hamstrug by a sieve "D" LY.
Not this year, as the Rams ranked 3rd in total "O" & 4th vs the run.
They have 2 scores to settle with the Saints, who took them by 31-28 in LYs Wild Card & 34-31 in October.
New Orleans is in off 3 TD drives of 4 plays or less & has kicked it up a notch behind Brooks(19 TDs only 9 INTs)
But Warner has 618 PYs & 6 TDs the past 2 weeks.

Rams 10-2 ATS on the Monday road

Saints 0-7 ATS as dogs off SU win

Rams in a war.

Saint Louis 30 New Orleans 20

Not my opinion by any means.
Have to look closer into this game & I've got all day to do it

I like the Rams for the first half -3. I'm looking for them to come out strong and make a point with a huge first half showing. I also lean to the over 26 for the first half. I see a 21-14 score by the half going to the Rams. New Orleans seems to get into shootouts pretty often and it looks like this should be one of those games. If the Rams keep mistakes to a minimal, especially the turnovers, I don't think New Orleans has a chance.

Home divisional dog Saints sure are enticing getting 6 at home vs a Rams team they have beaten in 3 of last 4 overall.....However:

1) 1st NO MNF in 7 years.. its a big stage that the Rams have gotten accustomed to playing in. Saints only appearance in primetime this year was the "Turley Bowl" as the Saints played their worst game of the year in home loss to Jets that ended with Kyle Turley tossing his helmet into the stands.
2) Marshall Faulk-- Did everyone forget this guy didn't play in the 1st game? The reigning MVP of the league will make a difference. Breakout game by Trung Canidate filling in for Faulk but Rams still more dangerous with Faulk and now real dangerous with both RBs available.
3)Saints 0-7 against the spread in the role as an underdog following a straight up win
4)Saints are only 3-2 SU and 2-3 ATS at home this year while the Rams are 6-0 SU and 3-2 ATS on the road this year.
5)Double REVENGE: Rams choked an 18pt HT lead in losing to NO 34-31,largely due to 8 Rams turnovers. Rams will also be making their 1st trip to the Superdome following their playoff loss a year ago. I wouldn't count on another 8 turnovers this time around.

Rams 31
'Aints 20
