in a 1$-2$ nl cash game

the flop is kgj ... the turn is a 5 , river is a 10

player A goes all in

player B after comteplating a call or not, shows the table that he has 99 .... and eventually makes the call with the k high straight (player A did not have the Ace)

is player B allowed to show is cards while deciding a call or not... then call ????

In a cash game....like the one that you were playing in....it's perfectly acceptable to show your cards before you make any decision. In a tournament on the other hand .....the hand would be ruled dead.
