We could run a weekly or bi weekly league with one or more tables. Part of the buy in would go to weekly winner or winners. Part set aside for yearly (maybe a seat into the wsop)

I believe this was tried before...........The big draw back for me was the games started too early in the evening, 7 maybe, especially heading into better weather.........

I think the MJ poker league fell apart when you could no longer fund poker sites as easy as before.

I have talked about this with a few friends. The only thing you really need is someone to collect the money... the site should do everything else. Probably just need to have a paypal account and send the money to a person. After the tourney is over they just send the money back via paypal

We talked about a 1 time a month game and the cost would be $25, with $5 from each person going into a year end pot... 11 sessions and the top 10 point people get to play in the final session for a winner take all

I was thinking either monthly for 125 or 150
or bi weekly for 50 or 75. Possibly less if we can get enough for two tables. Would love to have it big enough for winner to get a seat into a major tourney. Wearing Majacksports poker gear:0corn

I was actually wondering if the site had a feature to hold the money. If Not maybe Jack could hold it or Woodson

Woodson's a good choice. Has a history of holding money and paying out the winners without it taking 6 weeks, multiple unreturned emails, no drama and no racial slurs when forced to pay. Just sayin'

He's an excellent choice :toast:
