Just got knocked out in the 24K tournie at 200 after leading the first leg. House of cards the last two hours seemed I fell apart forcing hands....

Got to work on holding on to chips...

Finished with $25 bucks... after winning a FPP satellite...

oh well... free $$$ anyway... :sadwave:

Anyone playing tonight? Raining here ATL, and probably play some more cards...

Free money is free money woodson:00hour I'm about 30 minutes west of you and you are right, it is really coming down.

Totally off subject, but does anyone know why when someone is all in in tourny the cards flip preflop and in cash game they dont until after river:shrug:

it's to prevent collusion.

in a tournament you could be chip dumping/squeezing someone out/hence collusion.
it effects other peoples expectations/tournament equity.

in a cash game it doesn't matter what you do with your own money and most places never make you show although in general most players will show, but don't have to.

BDB,

there is no collusion in online poker:shrug: :mj07:

seriously, I have been playing poker 35+ years and only play lower limits online and have always been in doubt of the legitimacy

I rarely win on a consistent basis and have always thought the software was designed to build rakes and get the weaker players to chase for this purpose by design...what are your thoughts on this?

I rarely lose playing live, especially in home games, but a lot has to do with skill of players involved. My girl friend that finished 2nd last woman in ME of WSOP has always doubted online poker and says that my game is better suited for live poker vs online

I know that you make a living playing online but playing the bigger stakes games and I think that is the only way to try and get a "fair" game

thoughts:shrug:
