My Bowl Game Of The Year is............

Ohio State+3 1/2

I had the Buckeyes at +2 before the qb suspension and the fact is...IMHO Zwick has the same weapons as Smith and he is the better qb and knows the offense. The only thing Smith has over Zwick is he can scramble. Let me ask you this as well...Why would a team that lost it's starting quarterback 2 weeks before a bowl game that was +2 to begin with ONLY be +3 1/2 now??? Buckeyes are even a stronger play now!!
Defense travels and would you rather have the OSU defense or the OSU defense??? Pretty confusing I know but the OSU Buckeyes defense is 100 yards a game better!

Good Luck guys and on Wednesday December 29th your $$ should be on Ohio State!!

Oklahoma State alum here and, unfortunately, I have to agree with you. Before bowl matchups were announced I was praying that the Cowboys would face a "name-school." Reason being...I felt we would lose our bowl game against ANY foe. Do not like the way this team played down the stretch, regardless if it was against quality competition. The prospect of facing a lower-tier MAC school and getting embarassed on national TV was certainly not what I wanted to see as a proud alumnus. Even though the Buckeyes are down this year, this is going to be a much more palatable loss for me as a fan. I also plan on making some money against my alma mater, too.

Another point to add is that CB Darrent Williams was expected to return for this game for the Cowboys. He was the senior leader of this D going into the season, but has missed most of the season due to injury. This was going to be his swang song and he was suspended for violating team rules last week. His presence would have been a big lift to Oklahoma State's D, also a great punt returner. Granted, this team is used to playing without him, but this suspension is a major blow for the Cowboys as they sure could use an impact player to try and shore up an increasingly porous pass defense. Nationally, this suspension hasn't made as many waves as the Buckeye QB situation, but its impact could loom as large or larger.

"the bunker"
there are 4`s out there...and i grabbed one of `em....

i`m so glad you didn`t say the "lock" word....

this sets up well,imo.....it will probably be another ohio st dogfight....

if there`s several things that bother me,it`s the okie st offensive line..and the mobile qb........may be the best run blocking line in the ncaa.....i know texas fans will bitch.....but,all i`m saying is that okie st can grind it out......and miles seems like a very emotional guy that can get his boys goosed for a game...

i remember reading here or someplace else that all okie st`s defensive backs were under 6` tall.....that has to help the buckeyes...

here`s hoping that ohio st`s excellent linebackers can fill those gaps.....
