Woodson - sorry man. I was out tonight and didn't play it. Thought it was a toss up game which it turned out being.

Should be a good a good championship match-up. I really like LSU in it. Given how much chalk LSU has been the last couple of games, I'm sure you'll have to lay a hefty price for them, but I think they can do it.

I like LSU in game 1 behind Coleman.

I am going to take a big shot with Texas in the series, best coach and ranked #1 overall, FWIW

Texas is the #1 seed, but they aren't necessarily ranked higher. There are a ton of polls in college baseball but the one I believe is the most accurate (Baseball America) had LSU as #1 before the first weekend of the CWS. Texas was #4. In Boydsworld's ISR rankings Texas is #3 while LSU is #4.

Regardless, both teams are good and as I said I think it should be a good series with some close games.

I would give an edge to Texas in that they have actually been contested this week. LSU bats may be in for a bit of a rude awakening vs. the equally rested Texas staff. I agree, this sets up for an exceelent series.

I think LSU sweeps. Texas's luck is about to run out. I haven't seen the lines yet, but if LSU is anything close to a pick it, then I am all over it. :00hour

Texas has as good of a shot as LSU, but it is just plain silly to use rankings in your capping.

It should be a great series, Texas is ranked #1 in the poll before the tournament started, how can you not take that into consideration when capping the series? They beat the #8 overall drafted pitcher in the mlb draft like a drum:shrug: best coach in the game too, battle tested and played better competition in the CWS. think they win in 3 games

LSU is a good team too, that is why it is called gambling

HOMER PLAY :mj17:

Really LSU has a much better off. They can score with their bats with-out playing small ball and giving u outs. Texas is good, solid deff pitching is very good but has been taxed somewhat. power is is slim they don't put up lot of crooked numbers on the board ,A team built to manufactor runs. more built to play in the big ball-park with the field turf.

Good luck and enjoy the games.
