...i always see some comments about passing teams in the rain, but don't really understand them. IMO the only thing that really hurts a passing team is strong winds.... the rain softens the field and makes cutting, stopping on a dime and such harder.... the offensive receivers know where they're going, but the db's are guessing at routes, so i would think that rain would make it even harder for iowa's secondary to stop those big wr's for usc.... :shrug:
...unless the wind gets up and causes problems, i just can't see iowa's secondary stopping usc's passing attack, but then again, what do i know? gl tonight fellas.
