I've already handicapped week one of the regular season. I have three very strong leans, but one game really jumps out at me.

Jax -2.5 - Both Dallas and the Jags have looked great this preseason. Gotta think Public coin will be all over the boys. Jax is 15-6 ATS at home vs. NFC teams their past 21 games and a stunning 10-3 ATS their past 13 Sept games. Dallas on the other hand is just 4-15-1 ATS on the road vs. AFC teams their last 20. Not to mention the T.O. factor. If he plays I think it might actually hurt the chemistry of team.

Good Luck Gentlemen and post those week one winners !

Bears -3
over the hapless Packers

The Packers have done very well over the years at home against the Bears but that was mostly during Brett Favres prime and when the Bears weren't very good...but the Bears swept the Packers last year and I just can't see how they won't come out of cheeseland with a big W in week one...Favre is past his prime and will commit too many turnovers...the middle of the Packers O-Line is their biggest liability so I expect a pretty good Bears Defense to pressure Favre up the middle...I also feel Thomas Jones will be able to run the ball effectively against the Packers and take pressure off of Rex Grossman who could be replaced by Brian Griese if he struggles...I locked this one in at -3 last week and fully expect the line to move up by gametime...the Bears by at least 4 points.

Chicago 24 Green Bay 16

I'm bringing out the gun for the first time this season!

Love the Bears at -3 as well. Packers are going to have problems and packer defense is nothing to write home about.

good luck to all this season.

Not to be redundant with a pick here, but I've played the Bears already at -3, -120. Bjam & Oly.

Also took CIN & 3.5 early

I would have to say Cowboys +3 at -120
It does appear that betting will be on the boys and drive the line to 2.5 or less accross the board by gameday.

Jax offense really hasnt impressed me
10, 3, and 0 points scored in 1st half of preseason so far. The 3 and 0 when facing stiff 1st string defense of Carolina and TB.

Dallas Defense will be in Byrons face all day long.
Dallas offense looks solid enough to get job done.

I see Dallas winning 20-13.

Philadelphia -3.5 (+102) over Houston

The Texans finished 2-6 at home last season, with none of their losses being closer than six points. The Eagles starters have looked great thus far in the preseason and their D should have no trouble shutting down the hapless Houston offense.

Looking to play New England BIG! I see a lot of Bear action here.....don't really know why. I'm look'n to play GBay in that one!
Also have a funny feeling that the season could start out with an upset with Miami over Pitt! That spread is just too low for the defending champs at home! Vegas is screaming for Pitt action there....Dolphins will be ready for that opener! Count on it!! I seriously thought it would have opened up atleast 7-8, but 4 is just obvious Vegas knows something.....

Now that Big Ben is out that changes things...Pitt will be more focused now. Still like Miami, but now everyone and their mother will be on them as the line jumped down 3 pts already.....I'll probably be passing that game now.....

Jets vs Titans UNDER 36 (as seen on a few sites)

Both teams are in disarray on offense. Mangini will play it tight to the chest, run the ball and rely on the teams strength (special teams and defense) to keep them in this game. Going to be a long season for the J-E-T-S, but i think their defense will keep this game from going the over. We all know the jets arent going to be putting up any points.

N.O./Cleveland Over 36

-New Orleans defense was horrible last season and I don't see anything has changed even with new possible starting linebackers Shanle and Simoneau. Expect Frye, yes Frye, Winslow, and Edwards to shred up the Saints D.
