Is it me or does the google search engine suck even worse than it did
2 or 3 years ago?

I've been trying to find some information about this North American drill
that's supposed to test readiness in case of some type of cyber-attack,
or whatever else they think might shut the grid down.
I'm particularly interested in what Canadian companies are involved.

It's called GridEx II and, best as I can tell, it's being conducted by NERC
(North American Electrical Reliability Corporation) and about 150
other companies and organizations. It's not supposed to involve any
shutdown of power, anywhere, despite what the sky-is-falling pundits
are purveying on the internet (and a few of the goofier radio shows).

New York Times article, from August, is about the only thing worth sharing a
link to:
http://www.nytimes.com/2013/08/17/u...drill-will-simulate-a-knockout-blow.html?_r=0

Anybody have any decent info on this?

Probably a waste of time to type this and/or to think about this,
but all of the baseball games for today were rained out
or something.
