Things take a turn for the worse for team PP. We misread the conditions this past saturday and made 2 unit plays on the college sides. Ace cut into his huge losses a little bit with a good week. We believe that this was pure luck and we expect him to take a downturn from here on out while we fully expect to treat our remaining 59 picks as bullets. Bullets that we will use to extinguish team acehistr8.

I mean PP, come on my man making 108 plays in one day, I dont know what you expected? Call my run luck, call it whatever you want - but how can you call 108 plays in one day "handicapping"? Wasnt the contest supposed to be about who was the better handicapper not who could make the most plays in one day by taking the dog/under in 54 games? Anyway you're certainly entitled to approach it with whatever method you think is the best. Theres a long way to go so I wont say much for now.

All I know is on Saturday the 11th before I flew to Boston it stood at -800 for PP, -9200 for me. So in 15 days we've had a 10,000+ pt swing. As I did last year, I have had a great run in the NHL. 20-15-7 +5900 over 42 games this year, last year 32-23-3 +7274.

Good luck the rest of the way. Dont shoot yourself with those bullets.

Ace I admit that our style is a little different and we like to shoot from the hip. Artie thought that the conditions this past saturday were perfect to go all out and none of the rest of us disagreed, so we can all take the blame for that. That's the thing about us, we win or we lose as a team. Since we only have 59 picks left, we are going to have to alter our style a little bit. One more day like that and we will be out of picks. We may also have to start playing 4 or 5 unit plays, but I don't want to give away too much right now. I can pretty much guarantee that we'll come on strong at the end. Hopefully it's enough!!!!

From what I've heard, PP is borrowing that handicapping strategy from Mr. PD. Might or might not be true...108 plays is about half a days work for PD.

Petey, WTF, here I am looking foreward to my Monday update, since I am an honorary member of the wrecking crew for the duration of the contest, hoping to see how much more you have put the boots to the neck of achistr8 and this is what I see:

A fvcking 10,000 point swing, what goes on over there at headquarters? It is not possible on-line to express my dissapointment with this unexpected turn of events.
