Don?t have much experience playing soccer, but I do have experience with having your paycheck held back and there?s nothing more demotivating to an employee than having him think that he?s working for free. TV money owed to Portsmouth has been reallocated to other teams that they owe debts to. Rumours of Goalkeeper David James is reportedly being left out of the Portsmouth lineup because the cash-strapped club can?t afford his one-year contract extension if he plays a set number of games. Significant departure of players to the Africa Cup. Seems pretty easy . . . <gulp>

Birmingham City +160 1 unit

No one?s playing as well as Man City and a 4-1 victory against Blackburn and they didn?t play especially well and had Robinho, Santa Cruz and Michael-Phillips on the bench for most of the game. Some concern with United coming up on Tuesday, but the club has been using their entire roster with success and doesn?t have to worry about any European competitions taking a toll on their players in the next couple of months. After United, they take on the lowest 3 teams on the table in their next 3.

City +140 1 unit

No Gerrard, no Torres and even with them, Liverpool looks disinterested. They were focusing on the FA Cup as their chance of winning a trophy this year, but they weren't up for Second Division Reading. Stoke has some accuracy issues in regards to goals, but at this price, hoping they can sneak one or two.

Stoke +260 1 unit

Mancini likes the big/small compliment up front with his strikers and with Edebayor on leave and Santa Cruz injured they're left with Benjani who has just been put into play recently. Looks to me like he has no desire to shoot and would rather help those around him which would be fine, but there's no way Fergie allows Tevez to score and Bellamy has been off for the last 3-4 matches.

In City's end, Zabaletta is a huge defensive weakness which didn't hurt City in previous games against lesser competition, but United will be left-handed all day and should have success.

As much as I'd love to hear the crowd cheer "Fergie, sign 'em up!!" on a Tevez goal, I think they'll be outclassed here
