it is crazy over here, the game is at 3pm, and at 9am one could hear the chanting going on as both team's fans march to the stadium. Several weeks ago a bham fan was stabbed to death. They take FOOTBALL as they say here too seriously.
I always make sure when I walk downtown to wear a white tee shirt, wear the wrong color and your life is at risk.

I lived near London when I was a kid and my Dad always told me it was too dangerous to go to the games, but that was late 70's. I thought it had got a lot better . . .but I still see the away sections lined with security. Be safe

Usually I would attend a good match here in birmingham , but after what happened at the last match, not worth it. Plus, it is -2celcius outside lol

One thing that amazes me about this country is that the train system connects the entire country. You can go anywhere, even as far as scotland. Hell, even the buses have times posted as to the next arrival.
Great public transport here.
