From what I can tell in my newbie mind is the gap between the top 3 and the next 6 is huge and that's not the same impression that I get from the UK reports and maybe it's because the gap isn't as wide as it has been in the past. Aston Villa had just as an impressive campaign through the first half of the season last year and were Champion's league-bound and then they hit a wall. It has to do with style and play and it also has to do with a busier schedule, but I think you can put Spurs, Villa, Fulham, and Birmingham City in a bucket as they all are counter and chase and they all don't have the depth that this part of the season takes. Liverpool just doesn't seem to care and Man City could have problems if their recent defensive success is just a mirage but they look soooo good right now.

Obviously, the lines when they come out may change my strategy, but the plan is to start to play the top 3 and Man City and fade the rest of the top of the table from late January through the end of February. But for this weekend,

Risking 1 unit
Soccer - 126 Manchester United -170 for Game
Soccer - 123 Aston Villa +125 for Game

Good write up, some good info there.

But I have always said.......if you put 50 bucks on a tie on every game you'd make money. Of course I have neber done that, but I say that all the time:142smilie
