KC -2.5 -110 over the Pack (Hall of Fame)

Not going crazy here, but it is hard to ignore the Pack's injury situation. They are missing both starting tackles, both starting receivers. As we saw last year, they are decidedly thin at that spot. Sherman has made it very clear his main goal is to not get Favre hit. That shouldn't be a problem in this one, because he won't be hitting the field for much time. KC has a few notables surely out (including Tony Richardson), but they have a nice, deep, well rounded team. Vermeil has also publicly said he is excited about the chance to play an extra preseason game. He is 10-6 ATS in the preseason, while Sherman checks in at a nice 7-6 ATS. The line has reacted, swinging from the Pack -1.5 to the Chiefs -2.5. Despite the move, we have not hit any key numbers and I'll jump on board KC at -2.5 before it hits the three. A very small play to start the year.
