When do you realize you are retired...
1. When you show up to LA Fitness to play racquetball and see about 100 extra cars in the parking lot.
2. When you check your text on the phone and its your daughter texting.." have teacher conference today,Molly has no school,can you baby sit.
3.When you check facebook and see everyone from the 3 schools you worked out are all off and celebrating the day off.
4. When after racquetball you stop at Starbucks and buy a cafe latte and there are 6 people in front of you.
I forgot all about holidays because everyday is a holiday...:mj07:
Vir -5 over VT ***
2 of the top defenses going against each other. Vir has slacked off a little winning by 6 and 8 to ND and NC...lost to Duke by 10..but they are 22-2 and both losses are to Duke..VT just beat a bad Pitt team the other day...Vir won 1st game 81-59 at home..VT big weakness is rebounding..in that game they got 12 def rebounds..Vir is not a great rebounding either but their defense can shut down or slow down VT offense..It's a Maroon Out tonite at VT...but good defenses aren't effected by Maroon,White, or Black outs..VT is 12-1 at home..think they will be 12-2..
TCU -3 over Ok St ****
Just watched Ok St the other day...Texas won by 12...Pokes have only 7 scholarship's players and it shows...in the Texas game UT's bench had 22 points to 2 ok St pts...Ok is in a big time loss pattern...4-8 v at home..their stats at home give them hardly any advantage as opposed to on the rd...Dziagwa had 23 the other day hitting 7 3's.. but in his last games he has, 23,3,11,14,9...inconsistent .McGriff their best player had 5 points ...although they played Texas tough in the end they ran out of gas...think same thing happens tonite.. TCU meanwhile has split their last 10 games..they cannot lose tonite because going to the big dance will be over...they lost to Ou on Saturday and lost to KU in OT..but 2 nites before they go up to Iowa St and win big on their court...
Bane is one of the best players on the court tonite ... the big news is Noi there top rebounder and 2nd leading scorer might not play......ankle....but Miller had a big game the other nite and they still have 6'11 Samuel blocking shots {50} but their 2nd best player is their lefty pt gd Robinson..he has 178 assists...if he plays his game they win big..they played earlier and TCU won 70-68 @ Ok St....even if Noi doesn't play think TCU knows its not going "dancing" unless they win the B-12 tourney...Cowboys have nothing to gain at 8-17 and 4-8 ats at home.. think TCU wins this by 6-10 pts
Wisky -9 over Illi ***
Illi playing good but Wisky has now lost 2 in a row..at home..think they get their act together and sent Illi home with a double digit loss,
K-st-WV pass because Wade hurt his same leg that put him out the 1st part of the season...this is a devastating blow to the Wildcats...they are playing so well and breathing down the necks of their rival Kansas..but if Wade's season is over so are the wildcats..
Boston +5 over Holy Cross *
Both teams are playing bad in the Pat conf...HCross hit a 3 at the buzzer to upset Bucknell the other day...72-71... the player is a hero on campus...Holy Cross head's are big...but BU who is not very good beat them 68-54 2 weeks ago. I'll grab those extra points...small play because one is 5-9 and the other 4-10 in conference..
