it's pretty sad when you're trying to make a point and be one of the top teams in the conference and washington throws a pathetic effort like that against BOSTON.

Taking nothing away from Boston, they came to play.It looks like Robbie Ftorek's team is gonna be a real one if they keep on giving an effort like they have for the first three games...

Here's something else, I expected washington to try and win as many as they could early on in the season...but they couldn't even throw a SOLID effort against a team that was minus Jason Allison, Bill Guerin and Mikko Eloranta????
Look for Boston to make some noise this year. This is NO fluke...Boston was one of the hottest teams at the end of last season, and narrowly missed the playoffs....

Boston's for real this year...if they can be healthy.

PS: I think this year we're gonna see alot more "unknown" teams hitting .500 this
year...and making some noise.

1) Islanders
2) boston
3) nashville

and watch for columbus to be more competitive this year and cover ATS.

Bruins had a very good record with Dafoe in nets last year, just when he got hurt they tanked. BTW Get off your wallet Harry, and sign Allison!

They were embarassed. As Wilson said, "I think we were reading our own press clippings." Dismal display. There were just sandbagging to get Boston to think they really don't need Allison so they'll trade him to the Caps for peanuts.
