Holy Sh!t, BJ is a dog!

To be honest I haven't thought about what the line would be but for some reason I just didn't think he would be a dog. Don't get me wrong, GSP is one of my favorite fighters but ...........wow. I've said this several times on here and I'll say it again. I can't wait for that fight. I think it will potentially be the best fight of the year in the UFC.

I put my entire pinnacle account on Shogun Rua -415 (21 units to win 5)

If it hits, 7 units on BabyJay +148 (whatever the line movement is in the next day and a half)

------------------------

Notes:Shogun weighed in 4 pounds heavier than Coleman, while not looking as fat as his brother did when he tried heavyweight. Obviously has an enormous standing advantage, quickness advantage, age advantage, mma training advantage etc.

Plenty of people training at Renzos while St. Peirre is there, saying his jiu jitsu isnt nearly what it was billed to be. I get the line, but Ill take BJ as the dog. Obviously though, there is a lot more to Georges than jiu jitsu.

If Shogun loses, I will ball up in the fetal postion. If he wins I will probably add a couple of more on UFC fights, although I don't see anything else of great potential right now.

gl, last time I went all in I lost it all in hockey :)
If only they have mma fights more often...

Anyhow, I think you have a safe bet with shogun. Coleman is pretty old and he's never really improved beyond being a tough wrestler with decent gnp. Standup wise Shogun is heaps better, on the ground the CB guys are surprisingly very good on their backs. True the weight is a little scary but I think shogun has the frame to carry it, compared to his brother ninja who looked really out of shape at hw.

The gsp/bj odds are weird. Only way I see gsp winning is if UFC screws bj over in a decision. It is possible considering they have done it b4 (uno/penn) and they have tried to sue penn. Standup wise BJ had no probs with some of the top guys and on the ground he's a phenom. GSP might match standing up but on the ground I don't see him hanging with BJ.
