Shogun over Overeem - Good play. Opened -130, now at -140 at betodessa.com, -160 at sportsbook.com. Been waiting months for this play.

See little value in other plays. Possibly Yoshida and Werdum but lines aren't out and I doubt they will be on such short notice.

Silva/Arona - Arona has the style to beat Silva imo, if you overlook Arona's chin up standup style.
Fedor/CroCop - Fedor's recurring hand injury is my biggest concern. Shogun/Overeem has less risk and better odds, not touching this one.

fricking 5 dimes,pinny and oly hold out on posting these odds until the last minute...they`re tighter than joan rivers` face after her last botox session....

post the fricking odds,for god`s sake...it`s what you do....

btw...that`s one helluvan interesting card.....despite the fact that they`re even dragging tank abbott out of mothballs for this one....

Yoshida. Odds for other fights up now.
Yosh at -700 and Werdum at -1000!
Still wouldn't bet against either though.

Kondo over Belfort at +200 is a decent dog play, but don't think it will go ahead.
Nakamura over Igor at +170 is tempting, but I'll pass.

i agree with rua....-160 still looks do-able....

i read about fedor`s hand.....this line is down to -150....that seems like they are chumming for fedor money....and that scares me...

if fedor`s hand is hurt,it would be foolish to take this fight...it`s a dangerous fight....cro-cop...imo...is the best striker in professional mma....period...athletic....he`s a monster....

but,at -150....i have to take fedor...injury or not....he`s the most complete mma fighter i`ve ever seen....

yes,i saw the fujita fight...and he really rocked emilianko...but,his recuperative power was amazing...it didn`t last long after he got hurt...

i understand he`s never been stopped....and his loss was bogus...

i suspect that emilianko will be very cognizant of cro-cop`s high kick......

the one thing that concerns me is that fedor tends to throw wide punches.....while cro-cop is a former kick boxer and throws straight shots.....

very worrisome...

no reason for fedor not to take cro cop down....he can......barnett did...

but,if he pulls a randy couture in couture/liddell 2,he will lose...

all that said,i`ll take the more complete guy,injury or not,and parlay him with rua.......i wasn`t impressed with overeem`s win over belfort...belfort is the most overrated fighter in mma,imo.....

i wish i could get a little on kondo....can`t get a line at 5 dimes,pinny or oly.....

actually parlayed them to boot...

and played a little on arona at +175....the guy is very strong....

rua/arona is a very interesting final.....silva`s great....but,it`s good to see the new blood reach the highest level.....

whattaya think?....rua-150 to 175?

yea, when it coems down to 4, they fight twice for title. Pride gonna have the LW and WW GP's coming up soon, more fights to bet on! (and win hopefully!)
