I've enjoyed international soccer for a long time and with ESPN and Fox both carrying Primiership, its probably as easy to follow English Football for an American as it's ever been.
I took the summer to decide on who my team would be. I decided on ManCity due to their lack of history and ability to play an attacking game even though I think they're going to be both brilliant and horrible this year.
So, if you're ever wondering what the squares are playing, you need to look no further than my posts. I haven't been successful long-term playing soccer - I think I play too many dogs and unders due to hitting my first soccer play with Senegal against France in 2002. The other weakness I have is that I'm having a hard time differentiating the bottom half of the table. I'm working on not being scared playing -300+ teams, but it just doesn't seem profitable long-term. . . . but it's all dogs today.
ManCity got all the players over the offseason, but it's obviously going to take some time to be good in the back, let alone on offense. And while the 2-0 away against Blackburn looks good on paper, they were on their heels and disorganized most of the day.
Draw +330 1 unit
Wolves +880 1/2 unit
I don't think it's going to be a matter of ManUnited deciding it's time to play. They're going to have a tough time until everyone is fully recovered. It's not just losing Ronaldo, it's Nani, all the injuries in the back and their struggles early in the season that makes them tough to back here.
Draw +265 1 unit
Wigan +500 1/2 unit
