I was never a Prince guy. Just wasn't my kind of music, but I respected him. He was an incredible musician. He just had the "it" factor. And without a doubt, probably the most underrated guitarist of all time. He never gets the credit he deserves when talking about greats that played the guitar. Definitely evidenced in the clip that IE posted. Not many guys have the ability to have the guitar actually speak to you. The last 3 minutes of this song are probably some of the most emotionally painful brilliant moments in the history of music.

Two celebrity quotes about his musicianship that have been told over the last few days.

1. Dave Grohl was asked if Prince was a better guitar player than him, and he responded that Prince was a better drummer than Dave which is about as high a praise as you can get.
