Not sure if this had has already been said or posted, but just got this off the Princeton men's hoop page....
Spencer Gloger Ruled Academically Ineligible
Feb. 20, 2003
PRINCETON, N.J. - Spencer Gloger has been ruled academically ineligible and is not currently enrolled at Princeton University, the University announced today.
Gloger, the leading scorer and rebounder for the Princeton men's basketball team, will not be accompanying the Tigers this weekend when they travel to Dartmouth and Harvard.
"Spencer has been declared academically ineligible," said Princeton coach John Thompson. "I'm extremely disappointed for Spencer, but we will move on."
Gloger, a junior, will be eligible to return to Princeton for the spring semester of 2004. He would then be eligible for the remainder of the 2003-04 basketball season.
"I'm disappointed that I won't be able to help my teammates for the rest of this season," Gloger said. "I'll be pulling for them."
I liked Dartmouth at -7 before this, now I like it even more. :toast:
